Dr. Gianni Frisardi was born on 5-3-1956, and graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the "La Sapienza" University of Rome in 1983.
He worked professionally from 1983 to 1987 at the Giancotti Clinic, focusing exclusively on dental Prostheses and Gnathology. He specialized in Odontostomatology at the University "La Sapienza" in 1988
During the specialization period he was interested in Gnathology and Dental Prosthetic Rehabilitation and in particular in masticatory neurophysiopathology. He contributed to the carrying out a department of "Diagnosis and therapy of cranio-facial pain" in the 1st School of Specialization in Odontostomatology of "La Sapienza"University.
In 1993 he was part of the research project "Longitudinal study on the occlusal parameters of the mandibular kinematics and on the neuromuscular responses of the trigeminal system in terrestrial conditions and in simulated microgravity" contribution from the Italian Space Agency 1993, Department of Cardiovascular Pathophysiology director Prof. Giorgio Tallarida.
He also attended a Postgraduate Course in "Biomedical Signals" at the University of Engineering of Rome, "La Sapienza" in 1988-89, obtaining a scholarship from the ENEA Institute, with the following experimental thesis "Mandibular Kinematics".
