Scientific High School Diploma: Rome 1974

Graduated in Medicine: La Sapienza" University" Rome 1983

Specialization in Odontostomatology: La Sapienza" University" Rome 1988

Master in  Bioengineering: Engineering  University of  Rome " La  Sapienza" nel 1988-89, on an ENEA Institute study grant with an experimental thesis  on "Mandibular Kinematics"

Surgeon specialist in odontostomatology with solid experience in the field of masticatory rehabilitation and orofacial pain, is a candidate for the role of caring & responsible general dentist to implement the health structure of the knowledge acquired in 40 years of studies in the neuroscience of the masticatory system. Thanks to the background acquired (see below) and the continuous updating in the field of prosthetic, implantoprosthetic, orthodontic and orthognathic rehabilitation, he is able to make a valid contribution to the team and to the company. The profile is completed by excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem solving aptitude and professional use of editorial and dental web software systems such as MediaWiki, Zirkozanhn, Rhinoceros; electromedical instruments such as electromyographs for evoked potentials by EBneuro, Dantec, Nihon Koden etc. and transcranial magnetic stimulators. Dr. Frisardi Gianni also has the ability to organize professionally gained over the years of clinical experience which allowed him to create a Zirkonzah milling center in the dental facility where he currently works, Epochè in Nettuno (Rome).

Skills and competences

  • Patent no. 102017000014346 filed 06.02.2017 for: "Neuro application for industrial invention Gnathological Functions helmet for the definition of the integrity of the trigeminal nervous and masticatory system and for the determination of the intermaxillar Neuro Centric Relation on behalf of: EPOCHÈ S.R.L. Inventor: FRISARDI Gianni; FRISARDI Flavio; MASTRANGELO Giovanni
  • Masticationpedia: Currently the skills are aimed at transferring its masticatory neuroscience know-how to the International Scientific Community through an editorial project called 'Masticationpedia' (www.masticationpedia.org) connected to a Charity set up in London in 2021 of which Dr. Frisardi Gianni he is its founder and director.
  • Cad/cam: Currently Dr. Frisardi Gianni is focusing on CAD / CAM Science and in particular way to the digital intraoral impression He has already developed a methodological process for optimizing the implant axes by assembling the Trios structured light technology and the Renishaw contact technology. Axial optimization is therefore ensured by vector data coming out of the Renishaw before being imported into Zirkozahn. This will allow the fabrication of monolithic zirconium structures for implantprosthetic rehabilitation.
  • Trigeminal Electrophysiology: The trigeminal neurophysiological methodologies developed by Dr. Gianni Frisardi continue to be implemented with technological evolution and specifically through transcranial magnetic stimulation procedures which avoid the electrical nociceptive disturbance and determine a mandibular closure comparable to the transcranial electrical stimulation of the trigeminal roots. The stimulators tested for this methodological implementation were those of Magstim.
