In 1973-79 Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".

In 1978-79 he graduated in Medicine and Surgery with full marks and declaration of praise at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".

In 1980 he qualified for professional practice. In 1984 he specialized in Radiology with full marks and declaration of praise.

In 1984 he won the competition based on qualifications and exams for the position of University Researcher (Scientific Group No. 73 scientific-disciplinary sector F12A Neuroradiology).

In 1987 he confirmed his role as Researcher at the "Tor Vergata" University of Rome.

In 1988 specialized in Neurology with full marks and declaration of praise.

In 1998 he won a competition for qualification and exams for the position of Associate Professor (scientific-disciplinary sector F18X Diagnostic for images and radiotherapy), at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".

In 2001 confirmed in the role of Associate Professor (scientific-disciplinary sector F18X Diagnostics for images and radiotherapy).

In 2003, he was qualified as University Professor of Band I-AREA 06Medical Sciences-Disciplinary scientific sector MED 36 "Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy" at the University of Sassari.
