The Science-based Network

Be among the first to stand out, dentistry is Science and not fashion

Masticationpedia is a non-profit Anglo-Saxon organization, operating as a charity in dental medical research, particularly focusing on the neurophysiology of masticatory rehabilitation. Its mission is to create a platform for scientific and professional sharing, providing information on innovative clinical procedures to both professionals and the general public.

MASTICATIONPEDIA NETWORK

A key component of this initiative is the "Masticationpedia Network," a consortium of specialized centers that employ neurophysiological technologies for masticatory rehabilitation. These centers operate under the exclusive Masticationpedia brand, ensuring a scientifically and clinically replicable approach across various geographic areas. MASTICATIONPEDIA

Currently, two Masticationpedia Networks are operational in Italy:

  • Frisardi Masticationpedia Network in Nettuno, led by Dr. Gianni Frisardi, who graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1983 and specialized in Odontostomatology in 1987 at the 'La Sapienza' University.

MASTICATIONPEDIA

These centers not only offer advanced clinical services but also engage in social projects, such as diagnostics for orofacial pains, providing their expertise to the public in alignment with the goals of Anglo-Saxon charities.

To affiliate with the Masticationpedia Network, practitioners are required to complete a training course on trigeminal neurophysiological procedures applicable to prosthetic, implant-prosthetic, orthodontic, and orthognathic masticatory rehabilitation. Further information on affiliation can be requested through the "Contact" section of the official website.

In summary, the Masticationpedia Network represents an innovative model in the field of masticatory rehabilitation, promoting an interdisciplinary and scientifically grounded approach to enhance the quality of dental care.
