Mission
Mission
Our mission
The mission of the Masticationpedia project consists in the dissemination of specialist medical knowledge by qualified professionals.
In particular, it is the object of The Charity to make available to professionals and patients the results of studies on neurophysiological procedures, technologies and methodologies applied to the prosthetic, orthodontic and maxillofacial rehabilitation disciplines.
Part of the mission is to build a corpus of free knowledge that is available to the community and, therefore, is released with a free licence.
Certainly, sharing is one of the project objectives, in order to make this knowledge as useful as possible; for this reason, all collaborations aimed at giving depth to the results of the studies are welcome. Masticationpedia, therefore, is committed to promote the interdisciplinary exchange of experiences and technical-scientific knowledge between scholars and interested parties. In other words, if you have something pertinent to say scientifically on the subjects we are dealing with, you already have our advanced gratitude for your contribution
It is also the objective of the Charity to promote and sponsor, on its own and/or in collaboration with institutions, public bodies, and individuals or associations of individuals, all activities related to dissemination of, or contribution to knowledge through, for example, conventions, seminars, and other appropriate fora. These could include (also, but not only) debates, conferences, seminars/webinars, as well as refresher courses, and any other form of scientific and research activity; Masticationpedia would be directly procuring the publication of newsletters, handouts, congressional documents and monographs.
