| |
| * In the period April-September 1979 he carried out the postgraduate enabling internship in Internal Medicine at the S.Camillo hospital in Rome reporting the judgment: excellent.
| |
| * In November 84 he obtained the Specialization in Neurology

| |
| * In 1994 he won a CNR scholarship for a three-month master's course at Uppsala University (Sweden) where he learned the new recording and management techniques in the electromyographic field and in particular the reording technique electromyographic of Single Fiber for the diagnosis of mystenia. He also deepened his knowledge of internet management of EMG and EEG laboratories in different cities, with the possibility of interpreting online data and also of therapeutic prescriptions in emergency situations "state of emergency epileptic" by remotely monitoring patients even in non-specialist wards.

| | The proposed alternative philosophical paradigm, called the "Engineering Paradigm of Science" implies alternative philosophical assumptions regarding aspects such as the purpose of science, the character of knowledge, the epistemic and pragmatic criteria for the acceptance of knowledge and the role of technological tools. Consequently, scientific researchers need so-called metacognitive scaffolds to aid in the analysis and reconstruction of how "knowledge" is constructed in different disciplines. Precisely these 'Metacognitive Scaffolds' have allowed us to consider an important requirement in diagnostics that of 'basic knowledge' which tends to reduce the vagueness and ambiguity of the logic of medical language. |

| Since 2009 the Lazio Region has been an experimental assignment for an ALS Patient management model. Numerous training courses were carried out to prepare medical and nursing staff for the management of the patient and care givers. Our UOC is followed by about 50 patients suffering from ALS with a hospital territory path that provides emergency management with dedicated bed in H24 at our UOC. About 15 admissions were made per year from 2013 to 14 for acute respiratory and nutritional events. Since February 2015, therapeutic management with acute stroke thrombolysis has been activated. A multidisciplinary protocol has been drawn up for the PDTA of the acute stroke patient accessing our hospital's emergency room.

| Since February 2018 activation of the Stroke Unit equipped with 6 beds equipped with multi-parameter monitoring, located on the 9th floor of the New Wing of the Hospital. As of March 2019, 160 patients were subjected to systemic thrombolysis. In UOC Neurology are active specialist surgeries for Headache, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's M., Miastenia Gravis, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.

The term specifically indicates that part of gnoseology that studies the foundations, validity and limits of scientific knowledge.
In fact, an almost unlimited value has been given to a statistical test such as [1][2][3] and to the statistical data of a 'Classical Probability' based on Bayes' Theorem (which we will discuss in the next chapters)[4] and then witness a relative brake on the subject and all that is 'Epistomology', that almost spontaneously highlighted another fundamental passage that of 'Interdisciplinarity', a phenomenon that only with great effort is recognized as important as the specialized disciplines.
